Sanjay Devsale

Sanjay Devsale was born in 1973 and spent his childhood in a tiny village in Maharashtra’s Latur district. Devsale specializes in nature and landscape painting. He is well-known for his stunning works that feature elements of nature like trees, autumn, cherry blossoms, etc. His pointillist landscapes in vibrant colours are precise, detailed and striking, with each coloured dot meticulously painted with the brush hair to ensure consistency throughout the canvas. The impressionist technique is visible in Devsale’s use of light and colour in his landscapes, but his distinct voice can also be seen in his spacing and backdrop. The artist’s signature style has contributed to his prolific career, and he has exhibited his work in several solo exhibits held around India, including the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.
