Turkish and Uzbek Kilims

If there is one trend in home decor that we are obsessed with, it is kilims. Handmade kilims are timeless in their allure — they’re earthy, exotic, and inviting. Kilims are part of a long textile weaving heritage that spans portions of Turkey, Iran, and Central Asia.

A kilim is a flat-woven cloth with geometric designs that is typically handcrafted. This fabric is also more durable than most due to the flat-weaving process, making them ideal for areas such as your living room or kitchen. They may also be used outside, making them an excellent addition to any sunroom or patio.

Turkish & Uzbek Kilims

Our collection of Turkish and Uzbek kilims complements both traditional and contemporary homes, infusing a sense of personality, warmth and cultural richness to the space. Whether used as a standalone piece or layered with other rugs, our kilims are sure to add a pop of color and boho elegance to your home.

Shawls & Stoles by Pashmé – Ladakh

The timeless elegance and ethereal charm of pashmina shawls and stoles have captivated people across the world. The word “pashmina,” meaning textile made from “pashm”, a Farsi word which denotes raw, unprocessed wool. This “soft gold” fibre originates in Ladakh and has been transported to Kashmir for thousands of years, where it is still woven into exquisite shawls.

Pashmé Ladakh is a social enterprise that strives to help the weaving communities of northern India, notably, Kashmir and Ladakh, by using yarn provided by Buddhist nomads in Ladakh, which is manually hand spun by Kashmiri craftsmen on a traditional loom.

Pashme Ladakh’s soft and delicate hand woven shawls and stoles are renowned for their ultra-fine touch, intricate craftsmanship, and cocooning warmth. They exude elegance and timeless style when coupled with casual or formal outfits, and also make for thoughtful presents. Pay homage to the masterful artisans of Kashmir and Ladakh and experience the artistic beauty and pride of handcrafted pashmina by Pashme Ladakh.

Let’s celebrate the wonders of textiles form across the subcontinent and Asia together. Visit us to see, touch, and gift, from the tapestry of colors, patterns and fabrics which is our latest exhibition.
